Bringing to light the stories of women who lived out their callings.
If you long for something more, it isn’t necessarily because you are meant to do more or be more. Calling can simply be a response. When you sense that tug forward, pay attention. You are already standing on holy ground.
Hi, I’m Susan Coker O’Neal and I write about women’s stories—especially those with a divine twist, where an unexpected turn becomes something meaningful in God’s hands.
Some of these stories are in Scripture. Some are found in books, in quiet conversations, or along my travels. Many have been overlooked, forgotten, or never told at all.
My hope is that each one will encourage you. Whatever your age, background, or circumstances, it is never too late to discover meaning and purpose in the life you’ve been given.
The sacred journey of being a woman is richer when we walk it together. Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you.
Drawing from their journeys
to inspire your own.

“Calling: the truth that God calls us to himself so decisively that everything we are, everything we do, and everything we have is invested with a special devotion and dynamism lived out as a response to his summons and service.”
—Os Guiness: The Call: Finding and Fulfilling the Central Purpose of Your Life
